Yoga & Explore
Do you do yoga and always wanted to travel back to the roots in India but haven't dared to go alone? Or you just haven't had the opportunity? Then you are exactly right with us. Som and I created the format "Yoga&Explore", a 2-week trip to India, where we experience the country, culture and people and practice yoga together.
A journey to a wonderful land awaits you, full of colors, sounds, smells and adventures. And that's exactly why India sometimes seem overwhelming at first. As a German, but with a sense of home in India, I can provide you with the best possible support, understand your situation well and therefore always help you with uncertainties, including language issues. Som, on the other hand, as a local, is able to secure everything necessary on site. So you can relax and just enjoy the journey.

We all meet in Delhi on the first day. We stay there for about 1 day, arrive first and digest the first culture shock together. Then we continue by taxi, train or bus. We are in Rishikesh for a total of about 10 days, we make trips to other cities either at the beginning, in between or at the end. It always depends on the time of the trip, the program is individually adapted to the season and also to a certain extent to the group. Examples of other cities are Agra, Mathura or Mussoorie.
During our time in Rishikesh we have a regular daily routine, but excursions are also a big part. Examples of excursions in and around Rishikesh:
• Kunjapuri Temple at sunrise overlooking the Himalayas
• Beatle's Ashram in Rishikesh
• Vashishtha Cave
• Ganga Aarti
A classic daily schedule with yoga without excursions looks approx. like this:
07:30 - 08:30 Hatha Yoga
08:30 - 09:30 Pranayama
09:30 - 10:00 Breakfast
10:00 - 11:00 Individual time
11:00 - 12:00 Yoga Philosophy
12:00 - 13:00 Individual time
13:00 - 13:30 Lunch
13:30 - 15:30 Individual time
15:30 Chai
16:30 - 17:30 Vinyasa Yoga
17:30 - 18:30 Meditation
18:30 - 19:30 Individual time
19:00 Dinner
After that individual time
When we do excursions in Rishikesh these are mostly half days so the other half day is kept in the itinerary outlined above. This is how we ensure a balanced program of yoga, excursions and individual time.
Below you will find a few testimonials and impressions from our trip in March 2023. If you would like to be part of the next trip, please write to us info@satyayoga.net!

A note at this point:
The trip is not a trip in the sense of a travel insurance contract. Yoga&Explore is done as part of a private travel community. The participants take full responsibility for themselves in the sense that they regard the trip as a purely private trip as if organized by themselves.
The seminar leaders are not tour operators. When preparing and conducting the seminar, they undertake their best to ensure that the seminar runs smoothly. Profound spiritual experiences during the journey are possible. The participants assume full responsibility for their participation in the trip and all actions within and outside the group.
